  1. uninitialised block groups ftw.

    mkfs.ext3 took _forever_ on my 1tb disk. I can’t imagine what it would be like on 16T.

    At the time I made that fs, ext4 wasn’t really an option. (and given it’s my backup server, I’d probably not be too comfortable even if it had been).

  3. You know, I was regretting not planning something for my Red Hat-enforced week-long vacation right up until I was actually staying at home and relaxing on Christmas Eve. Aaahhhh. It’s a welcome change. I’ll use my passport next Christmas; the hax0rboys are all yours this year!
